By accessing or using BoxScore (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

These Terms apply to all users, including league owners, team owners, players, referees, scorekeepers, and visitors.

BoxScore provides a comprehensive sports league management platform that includes:

• League and team management tools
• AI-powered schedule generation
• Real-time score tracking and statistics
• Player and team leaderboards
• Communication and notification systems
• Incident reporting and management
• Payment processing for league fees and services
• Public league websites and profiles

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. For players under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Submit false, inaccurate, or misleading information
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Submit content that violates intellectual property rights

League owners and team owners are responsible for the accuracy and management of data they create, including:

• Team rosters and player information
• Game schedules and results
• Statistics and standings
• Incident reports

By submitting data to the Service, you grant BoxScore a non-exclusive license to store, display, and process that data as necessary to provide the Service.

Certain features of BoxScore require paid subscriptions. Key terms include:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or seasonal basis
• Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BoxScore and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

BoxScore's trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BOXSCORE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service will meet your requirements
• Statistics and data will be accurate or complete

IN NO EVENT SHALL BOXSCORE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

BOXSCORE'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR $100 IF NO PAYMENT WAS MADE.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BoxScore and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

• Breach of these Terms
• Suspected fraud or illegal activity
• Extended inactivity
• At our sole discretion

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where BoxScore operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
